Jon Luigi Haddad, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Jon Luigi Haddad received his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies in 1988. He received his undergraduate degree at Florida International University in Miami, Florida in 1984. His Cardiology Fellowship and Residency Training in Internal Medicine were completed at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut in 1995 and 1991 respectively, and his Internship in Internal Medicine at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut in 1989. He served as the Chief Medical Resident in Internal Medicine and as a Faculty Member and Clinical Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine from 1991-1992.
Dr. Haddad is a Diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Haddad is board certified in interventional cardiology.
He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Haddad practices Clinical and Interventional Cardiology at Amarillo Heart Group. His practice also includes carotid and peripheral vascular interventions and stent placements. His special skills include: Right and Left Cardiac Catheterization; Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty and Stent placement; Directional Coronary Atherectomy and Rotational Atherectomy; Coronary Brachytherapy; Intra-Vascular Ultrasound Imaging; Intra-Aortic Balloon Insertion; Temporary Pacemaker Implantation; Two-Dimensional Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound; Exercise Stress Testing; and he is licensed in Nuclear Cardiology.
