Muhammed F.A. Ali, MD

Dr. Ali is an Electrophysiologist/Invasive Cardiologist who has joined the Amarillo Heart Group effective August 13, 2018. Dr. Ali completed his Electrophysiology Fellowship in June 2004. Dr. Ali relocated to Amarillo, Texas with his wife Mary and their two children from Macon, Ga to join the Amarillo Heart Group. Dr. Ali has been in practice in Macon, Ga for five years and prior to that was in practice in Lubbock, Texas with Covenant Medical Group for nine years.
Dr. Ali completed Medical School at the New Jersey Medical School in May of 1996 and attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey where he completed his Residency in Internal medicine and general Cardiology Fellowship in June 2002. He attended Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN where he completed his Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology in June 2004. Dr. Ali served as the Director of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas for five years. Dr. Ali is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Dr. Ali specializes in Electrophysiology Studies and Cardiac Ablations including Atrial Fibrillation Cryoablation; Arrhythmia Management; Permanent Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation; Syncope evaluations; Tilt Table Studies and Diagnostic Cardiac Catherizations.
