Billing Clerk

Ideal candidate for this full-time nonexempt position should have experience in ICD10 and CPT coding, must be able to interpret an Explanation of Benefits from an insurance company. You will be responsible for the maintenance of patient billing accounts and performing numerous related functions to accomplish this task such as checking eligibility, insurance follow-up, answering patient billing inquires, collection of unpaid insurance claims and assistance in resolving patient and insurance company credits on their accounts. Daily phone calls will be made to insurance companies regarding claim issues. You will communicate regularly with other billing department staff and coding staff.

CNA – CCM Department

Amarillo Heart Group is currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate Full Time CNA or MA for the Chronic Care Management Department. In this position you will make daily calls to our patients enrolled in the CCM program, document the EMR and do any follow up that is required Interested individuals must have a current CNA or MA license approved from an accredited licensing program. Cardiology experience preferred. Bilingual preferred but not required. BLS certification is required.

Certified Medical Coder

Amarillo Heart Group is seeking a Certified Professional Medical Coder to join our team. This candidate will have at least 3 plus years of current medical coding experience in coding Professional Fee charts along with a current coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC. This individual will be responsible for submitting inpatient hospital, office procedure, office testing and office visit charges.

Procedure Scheduler

As a Procedure Scheduler Specialist, you will be responsible for completing verification of benefits and pre-certification/documentation processes which involves communicating with patients, primary care physician offices and insurance companies to ensure that all appropriate demographic and reimbursement information is accurate prior to the patient’s scheduled appointment. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Registration Clerk

Amarillo Heart Group is seeking an experienced Registration Clerk. In this role, you will work in a fast paced, high volume cardiology practice. Motivated, dependable, caring professionals who can interact well with patients, doctors and fellow employees are encouraged to join us. In this role you will register patients by updating demographic and insurance information, collect co-pays, payments and make financial arrangements, daily reconciliation and prepare for deposit, verify insurance and eligibility and benefits. One year of healthcare office experience required.Bilingual a plus.

CNA – Clinical

Amarillo Heart Group is currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate Full Time Certified Nurse's Aide to assist in the daily clinical activities of a comprehensive cardiology clinic. Interested individuals must have a current CNA license with a minimum of 1 year experience, EKG experience preferred. BLS certification required

Hospital RN – Dr. Rawal

The primary responsibility of the hospital nursing staff is to the hospitalized patients of the Amarillo Heart Group and any activities pertaining to these patients, which may include, but are not limited to the following: Daily hospital rounds, Hospital consults, ER admissions and consults, medical records and dictations and supporting the Amarillo Heart Group physicians and fellow hospital nursing staff whenever necessary to accomplish the day's work. The Secondary responsibilities may encompass patient care in and outside the hospital settings. These activities may include, but are not limited to the following: Assisting physicians in the office with routine patient visits, assisting physicians with hospital procedures (angiograms/coronary and peripheral interventions), and assisting physicians with office procedures (vein ablations/coronary and peripheral angiograms/peripheral interventions

RN – Clinical

Amarillo Heart Group is currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate Full Time Cardiovascular clinic nurse to assist in the daily clinical activities of a comprehensive cardiology clinic. Interested individuals must have a current Registered Nursing license and must have graduated from an approved nursing program and a minimum of 1 year experience, Cardiology preferred. BLS certification required, ACLS certification, preferred.
