PBX Operator

The PBX Operator is responsible for operating the central communication center-responding to all telephone calls and paging requests promptly in the best interest of the patient and the clinic staff.

Billing Clerk

Ideal candidate for this full-time nonexempt position should have experience in ICD10 and CPT coding, must be able to interpret an Explanation of Benefits from an insurance company. You will be responsible for the maintenance of patient billing accounts and performing numerous related functions to accomplish this task such as checking eligibility, insurance follow-up, answering patient billing inquires, collection of unpaid insurance claims and assistance in resolving patient and insurance company credits on their accounts. Daily phone calls will be made to insurance companies regarding claim issues. You will communicate regularly with other billing department staff and coding staff.

Medical Office Scheduler

Amarillo Heart Group is seeking a Medical Office Scheduler. In this role, you will work in a fast paced, high volume cardiology practice. Motivated, caring professionals are encouraged to join us. Duties include answering incoming calls, scheduling new patients in all locations, scheduling and rescheduling established patients, properly routing calls, answering basic patient questions and assisting with scanning, faxing, and filing as needed. This individual must have strong data entry and scheduling skills, able to multitask, have the ability to work well with a team and have a professional attitude. This position requires a minimum of one- year medical scheduling experience.

Procedure Scheduler

Amarillo Heart Group is looking for a smart and talented individual to fill the role of Procedure Scheduler to join our team. We are specifically looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position and who has a history of long tenures with previous employers. As a Procedure Scheduler Specialist, you will be responsible for completing verification of benefits and pre-certification/documentation processes which involves communicating with patients, primary care physician offices and insurance companies to ensure that all appropriate demographic and reimbursement information is accurate prior to the patient’s scheduled appointment. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Registration Clerk

Amarillo Heart Group is seeking an experienced Registration Clerk. In this role, you will work in a fast paced, high volume cardiology practice. Motivated, dependable, caring professionals who can interact well with patients, doctors and fellow employees are encouraged to join us. In this role you will register patients by updating demographic and insurance information, collect co-pays, payments and make financial arrangements, daily reconciliation and prepare for deposit, verify insurance and eligibility and benefits. One year of healthcare office experience required. Bilingual a plus.

Phlebotomist

Our Cardiology Clinic is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to conduct draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis, will also perform finger draws PT/INR.

CNA/MA Vein Lab

This position will work 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in the vein lab assisting with clerical duties, measuring patients for stockings and any other tasks that need to be completed. The other 2 days, Monday and Friday, will be spent in our Chronic Care Management Department making calls to patients that are enrolled in this program. BLS certification required.

CNA – Clinical

Amarillo Heart Group is currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate Full Time Certified Nurse's Aide to assist in the daily clinical activities of a comprehensive cardiology clinic. Interested individuals must have a current CNA license with a minimum of 1 year experience, EKG experience preferred. BLS certification required.

LVN – Vein Lab

Our Cardiology Clinic is seeking a LVN for our Vein Lab. Primary duties for this position may include rooming and preparing patients for procedures, obtaining signed consents and vitals, documenting information in the EMR system, maintaining patient flow, performing/assisting with procedures, providing patient education and discharge instructions, cleaning and restocking exam rooms and various clerical duties. BLS Certification required.

RN – Clinical

Amarillo Heart Group is currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate Full Time Cardiovascular clinic nurse to assist in the daily clinical activities of a comprehensive cardiology clinic. Interested individuals must have a current Registered Nursing license and must have graduated from an approved nursing program and a minimum of 1 year experience, Cardiology preferred. BLS certification required, ACLS certification, preferred.
